Allana began her career with Australia in Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Then, after suffering several knee injuries through time, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana played with distinction at the helm of New South Wales in her debut Women's Rugby League game against Queensland in 2015, a game she also took part in during 2015. Allana added radio to the game, and has frequent appearances in 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Beyond sports, Allana is also a fully trained educator. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of representing Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens, rugby league and touch. Allana Ferguson, the Jillaroos' star rugby player is forced to end her professional career because of breaking her ACL four times. She had torn the ligament on the same knee between was a teenager and a 20-year-old and after a fourth tear this meant that Ferguson's playing time ended. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker, has been forced to leave early from the squad after suffering a fourth left ACL tear. The injury was sustained in the month of November while training Ferguson was an icon of women's rugby league for many seasons, confirmed the report this week in The Courier Mail.
